Aims of the project: to organise a Czech-German conference on environmental accessibility.

The aim of the cross-border project is to exchange experiences and share knowledge regarding the accessibility of buildings and routes suitable for people with disabilities, families with children and prams, and the elderly. This will be achieved through Czech-German meeting, training and professional events that will enable mutual interaction (people to people events) and the creation of a comprehensive environment for sharing practical and professional knowledge. The project aims to build on the already established "Barrier-Free Network" and at the same time focuses on improving accessibility mapping and developing cooperation between diverse stakeholders for inclusion and accessibility of space in the ERN. The project builds on the joint project "Travelling with Disabilities / Reisen von Menschen mit Handicap" and strengthens the Czech-German cooperation. In the framework of the previous project, a cooperation network with 20 entities in the border area was established. A mobile application Disway trails was also developed to support disabled people in planning travel, trips and leisure activities. The app includes important information on the accessibility of wheelchair accessible facilities, which helps wheelchair users to better plan their activities and minimise unpleasant surprises.
