The disway project is an international community social network for travellers with disabilities. Our main goal is to create a place where we can exchange travel experiences and inspiration for possible trips and vacations. Another goal is to associate the disabled.

The aim of the project is to create a cross-border Czech-German network that will connect actors engaged in the development and improvement of travel for disabled people in ERN and EEL. The main link of this network is a web portal and a mobile application in the form of an interactive map that will help share the experience of traveling for disabled people in ERN and EEL.

We have established the Travel without Barriers network, which includes organizations working with disabled people, handicapped persons, but also actors and service providers in the tourism industry in order to actually improve the travel of disabled people in the Czech-German border region.

The OBZOR Liberec civic association was established in October 2003. The main activity of its activities is the meaningful use of leisure time of people with various types of internal and physical disabilities (especially wheelchair users). Other activities include education, curative and rehabilitation stays, sightseeing tours and international cooperation (with organizations of people with disabilities in the German part of the Euroregion Nisa, Poland, Hungary and Denmark).

As part of the development of a barrier-free network, we have established cooperation with the Czech-German Future Fund and the Ústí nad Labem Region.

On 10 June 2024 at 13:00, a hybrid Czech-German conference was held in LIPO.INK in Liberec, where experts from the field discussed the topic of accessibility in the Euroregion Nisa. It was attended by experts from various organisations (Prague Wheelchair Organisation, Barrier-Free Network, TUL, KU LK, Liberec City Council, Windmuehle Seifhenesdorf, Stadtentwicklung Zittau, City of Jonsdorf, Nature Conservation Centre Zittauer Gebirge, Regenbogen Society, MGO and others) and representatives of local ERN organisations. Accessibility was discussed, accessibility problems in the Liberec region were shown, the new version of the Disway Trails app was presented and the newly established Barrier-Free Network in Prague was presented.

The event was intended for representatives of organizations, cities, municipalities, public administration and other experts.
