Route through Harrachov

The mountain town of Harrachov counts on wheelchair users

Parking

The starting point of the journey to the Mumlava Waterfall is the parking lot at the bus station, where you can use the wheelchair-accessible toilets.

Meet Point Bistro Mumlava

Then you will pass by the Šindelka Museum, which is unfortunately not yet wheelchair accessible. You can stop at the Meet Point Bistro Mumlava, which has wheelchair access and a wheelchair accessible toilet.

Mumlava Waterfall

The path through the forest along the blue trail leads to probably the biggest natural attraction - the Mumlava Waterfall. The path to it is just opposite the U Lišáka refreshment, which is not wheelchair accessible. It is a bit steeper downhill to the waterfall right at the beginning, but after that the slope is more pleasant. The pumps have recently been repaired by workers and can be crossed. There are rocks at the entrance to the footbridge, but they can be negotiated. Enjoy the view.

Novosad glassworks and microbrewery

Then, after a beautiful walk through the forest, you will reach the Norma supermarket and continue along the main road to the glassworks and the Novosad and Son microbrewery, which is just a stone's throw away. You can arrange a tour in Czech, German or English. You can see the operation of the glassworks without any problems.

Bobsleigh track

The next stop can be the bobsleigh track. The walk around is interesting thanks to the big Hollywood sign Harrachov and the shoe tree. The buffet offers pleasant seating, but the toilet is not wheelchair accessible.

The well of St. John of Nepomuk

You continue through the Anenské valley to the St. John of Nepomuk fountain, where there is a newly built Priessnitz paddling pool.

Pub At the mole

Next, you will pass the menhirs by the chairlift and pass the famous U Mole pub, where wheelchair users can only sit outside. There is one high step inside the pub.

Church of St. Wenceslas

St. Wenceslas Church is on a hill and has several steps at the entrance, but the view of Devil's Mountain and the ski jumps is worth it. The church has recently been decorated with three new bells, named God, St. Wenceslas and Mary.

Ski Museum

And our route ends and we are back at the bus station.Right at the beginning there is an interesting little Ski Museum with a wheelchair ramp. You can buy a tiny wooden Krakonos as a souvenir.
