Info Centre

The Gate of the Trident

The information centre Brána Trojzemí on the square in Hrádek nad Nisou. It is accessible by a ramp with a glass sidewall. In addition to the information centre, the building also houses a cinema, an exhibition hall and a library. A disabled toilet on the first floor, accessible by lift.

Restaurant Nostalgie

Nice restaurant. A good starting point for a trip to the Tri-Country. There is no accessible toilet. Approximately 4% slope of the concrete driveway, but the terrace is freely accessible, as is the main restaurant and bar area.

Directions

At the beginning of the route there is a short steep climb of about 15%. Then the trail runs mostly on flat ground. In Hartau, part of the path slopes downwards and is on cobbles. In Poland, you have to follow the road for a short distance and reach a footpath that runs along the left side of the road. This section is about 1.2 km long and there are three petrol stations and a shop along the way. It then crosses over and joins a path leading directly to the Tri-Country Monument. Here again there is a shorter steep descent with a slight cross slope and it can be slippery in wet conditions. Further along the path in the Czech territory, you can turn into the forest on a wooden path to Wetland at Kristýna.

The path leads past the Kristýna water reservoir. Refreshments and accommodation in the campsite are possible. In case of bad weather we recommend visiting the nearby Grabštejn Castle.
