The petition for an increase in the care allowance continues

When it's a good cause or idea, we're happy to support and share. One of our main partners, NRZP, has long been an advocate for the rights of PWDs through legislation, both at parliamentary and governmental level.

The NRZP is also the author of a petition that aims to push for the valorisation of the care allowance.

This allowance has been hit by inflation (rising prices of commodities and goods) over the last two years, all without compensation. The care allowance is practically the only possible income for many disabled people with higher levels of disadvantage. Very often it forms the bulk of the family budget, especially in cases where the person providing care is a close relative. Thus, the valorisation of this allowance is crucial for the whole family.

You can print the physical petition if you want to add signatures of people from your neighbourhood (family, friends). The signature must be unique and must not be duplicated. If you wish to sign the petition only yourself, you can visit your Regional NRZP or sign the petition electronically (instructions are attached at the link above).
